Getting started
Create your first workspace in Lyyli
Learn to set up a workspace, fill in basics and communication strategy, and use voice analysis.
A workspace is the heart of Lyyli and a safe home for your brand. Once the basics are in place, scaling on-brand communication is straightforward. Each workspace can and should have its own voice, audience, and channels. This guide helps you get your workspace up and running quickly.
Time estimate: Filling in the basics takes about a minute. Allow a few minutes to refine the communication strategy. You can always add more later; Lyyli delivers results with basic settings too.
Section 1: Basics
Basics define your workspace identity and who in your organisation can access it. Responsible communication requires clear permissions.
- Workspace name: Give a clear name that tells your team the purpose (e.g. "Expert comms LinkedIn" or "Internal comms Teams").
- Language: Choose the default language for AI-generated content. You can change it per draft later.
- Visibility: Set the workspace open to the whole organisation or private to invited members only.
💡 Managing multiple workspaces
Keep different channels and audiences in separate workspaces for accuracy. Growth and Professional plans allow unlimited workspaces.
Section 2: Communication strategy
This is the most important setting. It tells Lyyli what you aim for and who you speak to. The clearer the frame, the better and more ready the content.
✅ Goals, audience, tone of voice
Describe the workspace purpose in a few sentences. Define audience and tone. Use the AI-assisted voice analysis by entering your website URL and clicking Analyze – then refine the suggestions and save.
Section 3: Visual identity (Optional)
Add brand colours (HEX), fonts, and logo (PNG/SVG, transparent background) for on-brand visuals and banners.
Section 4: Idea sources
Add external URLs (news, blogs) and, on Professional, connect Slack/Teams channels. Lyyli surfaces idea candidates onto your Kanban.
Section 5: AI settings
Set the default language model (we recommend Claude Sonnet) and strict rules for the AI (e.g. max length, style).
Section 6: Email inbox
Lyyli creates a unique email address for the workspace. Anyone can send ideas to it; they appear in the Idea column. Restrict by domain or by allowed senders.
What next?
- Invite team members from Members.
- Open the Kanban and create your first draft.
- Connect LinkedIn under Publishing channels for full automation.
You can change any setting later under Workspace settings.
Something went wrong?
Voice analysis failed – Not enough text on the site or a firewall is blocking. Use manual tone settings. Slack/Teams channels missing – Check Integrations and complete the connection. Save failed – Ensure Workspace name and Language are filled.
