Lyyli.ai opens its doors to consumers. The Finnish AI assistant promises to make business communication more efficient without losing the organization's unique voice or human touch.

Mikko Oksanen, CEO of Lyyli AI Oy, noticed last spring that AI-generated text was becoming good enough for various communication situations. Years of conversation with ChatGPT had refined texts and analyses to suit Mikko's own voice, while at the same time social media, newsletters, and websites continued to fill with generic text content.

01The Communication Challenge

A few years earlier, Oksanen worked as the communications director for a professional organization of about 200 people and noticed how something as important as communication always took a back seat to sales and core business processes.

"The need for communication was recognized, but there were no resources for systematic, high-quality communication that met everyone's needs as broadly as possible then – and there still aren't in many organizations today," explains Oksanen about his experiences.

02AI as support, human in control

Lyyli.ai was created to address this need: to meet companies' growing communication needs by streamlining processes with AI and automation where it makes sense to use AI. At the same time, the service ensures that the organization's distinctive voice that speaks to different target audiences is preserved and creativity doesn't disappear from communication.

Lyyli.ai learns both the organization's communication guidelines and the user's personal way of expressing things. When a user writes an email, LinkedIn update, or internal message, Lyyli suggests text that sounds like the user themselves – not a machine.

03Real User Feedback

"I'm extremely impressed with the text format it produces. Doesn't smell like AI at all," says one of the service's test users, a startup founder. "I hate that classic AI rhythm, and it's annoying when all my own texts nowadays are like that because I'm too lazy to write myself."

This feedback captures exactly what Lyyli.ai aims to achieve: AI assistance that enhances human communication without replacing the human voice.

04Available now

Lyyli.ai is now open to everyone at lyyli.ai. The service works in Finnish and English and integrates with:

  • Outlook – seamless email assistance
  • Gmail – smart composition support
  • Microsoft Teams – enhanced internal communication
  • Slack – intelligent message suggestions

05Backed by Growth Funding

The service has received growth funding from the South Savo Growth Fund managed by Redstone and investment company Expion.

"AI doesn't replace people but frees up time for what humans are irreplaceable at," states Sannamari Nykänen, CEO of Expion.

This investment enables Lyyli.ai to accelerate product development, expand integrations, and bring the service to more organizations struggling with communication efficiency.

06The Vision: Communication That Sounds Like You

In a world where generic AI text is flooding communication channels, Lyyli.ai takes a different approach. Instead of generating generic content, it learns your voice, your organization's tone, and your communication preferences.

The result? Communication that's faster to create but still authentically yours.

For professional service organizations, consultants, and growing companies, this means:

  • More time for billable work and client relationships
  • Consistent brand voice across all communications
  • Reduced stress from overwhelming communication demands
  • Better quality messages that drive results
