Zero trace AI
Global AI services are built for the masses. Their default logic: you input data, they retain it, and often it ends up as training material. In C-level communications, that is simply too big a risk.
With Lyyli, security, GDPR compliance, and European data sovereignty are built into the core — not a paid Enterprise add-on.
What does this mean in practice?
Typical AI tools
- Inputs stored up to 30 days
- Data may leave the EU
- Content may train future models
Lyyli
- Zero Data Retention
- EU-only infrastructure
- Never used for training
Architecture difference: Lyyli vs. a typical AI service
The biggest difference is not in the UI. It is in what happens when you press Enter.
| Typical AI service | Lyyli.ai | |
|---|---|---|
| Input retention | Up to 30 days | 0 minutes (ZDR) |
| Data location | US / global | EU (always) |
| Training use | Possible | Never |
| DPA agreement | Negotiated separately | Built-in |
| Request anonymization | Not typically | Yes, built into the platform |
A concrete example from your day
As head of communications at a publicly listed company, you need to quickly draft a crisis statement or refine the CEO's quote on an upcoming acquisition.
Can you hand over such confidential background material to an AI service that stores data for quality control purposes for a month? You can't. With Lyyli, you can work on stock exchange releases, internal restructuring FAQs, and strategic messaging in complete confidence.
Since no data is stored anywhere, there is no data leak risk. It is a moment between you and the AI. When the text is ready, the machine forgets everything.
The security foundation is built right
Zero Data Retention is Lyyli's most significant security measure. We've also ensured all fundamentals withstand the most critical audit.
EU-only servers
All data routing happens within European borders in strict GDPR compliance. We monitor our own infrastructure.
Strongest available encryption
Data encrypted at rest and in transit with the industry's highest standards (AES-256 and TLS 1.3).
Fully anonymous requests
Our system is built so that even we as administrators cannot link a specific user to their AI request.
CISO checklist: hand this to your IT team
We know from experience how laborious software procurement processes can be. Speed up evaluation by weeks by giving this list directly to your security lead.
Zero Data Retention (ZDR)
Lyyli's architecture does not store user prompt inputs or AI-generated responses, not even temporarily. Data disappears immediately after processing.
Absolute training data prohibition
Customer data is never used to train our own or third-party language models. Zero tolerance.
GDPR and DPA
The service is developed and hosted in Europe. Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is a built-in standard feature.
No vendor lock-in
Since we don't store processable data on our platform, your business-critical information won't get stuck in an external cloud.
Encryption and monitoring
TLS 1.3 in data transfer and AES-256 at rest. The platform has continuous threat monitoring and automatic anomaly detection.
Processing vs. storage: why can I see my chat history?
The architecture separates AI processing from data storage.
AI processing (ZDR): the language model processes data and returns a response, then forgets everything immediately. No 30-day logs, hidden caches, or training data.
Your workspace (EU): your chat history is stored in isolation only on Lyyli's own secured EU servers. You control the data, and when you press delete, it truly disappears.
