Board views: Kanban and Pipeline

All

Choose the right board view, understand grouping, and know when to open the dedicated Kanban and Pipeline guides.

In Lyyli, board views (Kanban and Pipeline) organise content cards into columns—this article is the overview before view-specific guides.

Columns vs metadata

Lane placement does not automatically equal intrinsic content status unless the grouping picker explicitly binds to that field—confirm in your authenticated tenant before stating “moving the card updates production status.”

Use an existing board

  1. Open the workspace or project board/view selector.
  2. Pick a teammate-saved preset when available.
  3. Drag cards horizontally; capture validation toasts when dependencies or roles block movement.

Create a Pipeline-style layout

  1. Start New view (or equivalent) from the picker.
  2. Name it for stakeholders.
  3. Choose grouping only among the options the UI lists.
  4. Adjust columns within allowed limits and save.

One lane per grouping

A card typically occupies a single lane for the active grouping—call that out so teams do not expect duplicate chips per column.
